How do Staffing Agencies use the Staffing Universe?
You are able to browse and search for open positions that you would like to submit your candidates to or a client may contact you directly through the Staffing Universe to fill a job. When you see a position in the Staffing Universe that you would like to fill, you fill out a very simple candidate profile, attach the resume and your submission goes straight into the email inbox of the client. We are a virtual sales force for your company and you pay us a small fee only when you fill a position. Our system was designed to ensure that our recruiters are able to fill positions that they would have not had otherwise access to with simplicity and ease.
Why should I work on the Staffing Universe?
Because we have access to great jobs that you would have not had the opportunity to work with otherwise. We are recruiters that have created our system with the recruiter in mind. We designed the system to be used with ease and have taken steps to improve the regular communication and feedback from the clients. We have a support staff to ensure that you are receiving the customer service that you need to feel a successful part of our team!
How can I submit a candidate for a job order?
You will simply log into your account and select which option you would like to use. The navigation through the Staffing Universe is simple but if you ever have trouble, our dedicated account resource team is always reachable for your questions. You can submit candidate, change your rates, message a client, and manage your profile. Be sure that when you post your hourly rates for temporary or temporary to hire openings, that your rate is all-inclusive (These rates are all-encompassing and no other bills from the agent will be accepted or paid).
What types of jobs can I fill through the Staffing Universe?
We have clients that need direct hire or temporary positions filled for administrative, finance and accounting, operations, marketing, human resources, healthcare, scientific, technology, light industrial and executive management positions. Contract positions will be a minimum of a 4 week assignment.
How does the process work?
The client will specify the requirements for the position, the culture of their organization, fees/payment structure and other details. Those requisitions are then distributed to a specific database of staffing agencies and recruiters, based on their profiles, who will submit candidates who fit the specified requirements.
How can I sign on to fill open jobs?
We look forward to working with you! Once you fill out a profile on Staffing Universe, you will receive a request to complete an Agency Interview and provide references along with your Insurance documentation. We will review these documents and activate your account (may take up to 7 days) . Our resource managers are placed to answer questions and provide the highest levels of support to all of our agencies.

How do I communicate with companies?
Once the employer engages you and your candidate on a requisition, you will receive notification and will be able to communicate through a message board to arrange interview times and provide feedback to and from the client with ease and simplicity.

Is there a fee to be a member of Staffing Universe?
At this time, the only fee that we will charge you will be when you fill a job. Our fees are very modest as we want to encourage you to make the jobs on the Staffing Universe a priority.
Do I determine how much I will charge for my fees for services?
Yes. The client will post a maximum fee or bill rate with their job order. You will be able to view the rates that other recruiters have agreed to and change your prices should you desire to do so.
How do I get paid for the work completed on a job order?
For Direct Hire openings, we will handle the billing and the collections for you and you will be paid by Staffing Universe 45 days after the placement is made (see User Agreement). Unless otherwise stated, you will bill the client directly for temporary and contract fills.
What does the Staffing Universe charge me?
You will only be billed if you fill a job. We keep our rates extremely low to encourage you to make our jobs a priority. Staffing Universe will bill 5% of the total of every direct hire placement that is made, 1 hourly bill rate for each week of a filled contract position ($25 bill rate x 4 week contract = $100), and for any temporary job, we will charge a flat rate of $15 per day. (note: contract fills are 1 week or greater in length, guaranteed).
What if for some reason the job order fails? Can I get a refund?
In some cases, we will provide a refund. Please contact us to discuss the specifics of the circumstance.
Why can’t we post contact information?
It would enable you to directly contact the other members and bypass our system. We have kept our fees very nominal in order to ensure that all of our recruiters are paid fairly for their work. Our services are valuable and we believe our fees are fair.
What happens if I violate the terms and conditions of use?
You will be removed from Staffing Universe immediately. If you have questions on understanding the contract, please contact us as we will be happy to help to further your understanding.
