How many staffing agencies work on the Staffing Universe System?
We have thousands of specialists that work on the system and we sign on more everyday as they see how effectively our system has been designed. As we bring on new clients, our Account Management team targets agents in specific locations and specialty markets to ensure that as soon as a job is placed on the Staffing Universe, we have an abundance of recruiters to fill it.
Do you accept permanent and temporary job orders?
You can fill all your direct hire, contract and temporary openings with internal or external candidates on Staffing Universe.

How do I post a job order?
Our web application will enable you to upload all your temporary, contract, and direct hire requisitions. You will be able to specify the requirements for the position, the culture of your organization, fees/payment structure and other details. Your requisitions are then distributed to an extensive database of staffing agencies and recruiters which submit candidates who fit the specified requirements. The hiring process is determined by you. Once a candidate is placed, the staffing agent will be charged a small fee.

Will any headhunter be able to access my contact information and call me?
No, the Staffing Universe hides employers’ contact information from the marketplace. We have developed effective and efficient message boards for communication between recruiter and client. Only after an employer chooses to engage an agent is contact information made available based on your preferences.
How does Staffing Universe screen the recruiters on the system?
Every one of our recruiters is taken through a thorough screening process with an agency interview and receipt of references and insurance documents.
How long will it take to see results?
We have worked hard to ensure that we have the largest pool of specialty recruiters to fill your open position and we will continue to add more every day. Our screening helps to ensure that the agents on Staffing Universe have a proven track record of past success. However, your success will depend on a number of factors including the difficulty of the placement, the attractiveness of the company and the job, the location and certainly on the fee that they are willing to pay a recruiter. As in any staffing scenario, there are certainly factors that the employer can affect to make the search more successful.
Who owns the submitted candidates?
All recruiters in the Staffing Universe own the candidates that they submit to an open job for one year. If you decide to make a hire, you will be billed by the Staffing Universe.
What if I already have a candidate that an agent submits to me?
If the candidate is submitted by a recruiter but you have identified the candidate through means outside of Staffing Universe, you will owe no fee should you choose to hire that candidate.
What happens if two agents submit the same candidate?
In the unlikely event that our system fails to block a duplicate submission, the winner of the filled job will be the agent who first submitted the candidate, as determined by the time and date stamp on the submissions.
How are Agencies and Recruiters held accountable to quality work?
YOU rate each recruiter every time they fill a position. That rating becomes part of the staffing agent’s profile. Every time you review a submission, you will be able to see their rating. Staffing Universe also compiles statistics on each agent’s number of submissions, interviews and hires. A higher rating and better stats will increase the recruiter’s chance of visibility and certainly exclusivity on newly created positions.
How do I communicate with the Staffing Agencies?
In the Staffing Universe, you will have message boards that you will be able to use to communicate to your recruiters or you may choose to communicate via your own methods. You will be able to coordinate interviews, give feedback and follow up and interact with the agent through a simple process that works with your timeframe.
What is my cost to use the Staffing Universe?
There is no current charge for clients to use the system to fill their open job on Staffing Universe nor do we charge for one source billing for your direct hire openings. Should you choose to utilize one source billing for all of your temporary staffing or our Consolidated Contract Services, we will be happy to provide you a quote.
How will I be billed for candidates that I hire through the Staffing Universe?
For all of your direct hire placements, you will recieve a one source bill for no additional fees. We will invoice you as the single vendor for every direct hire placement that you make on Staffing Universe and we will pay the agency. You may elect one source billing for your temporary placements or be billed directly by the agency that fills your open position.
Can the Staffing Universe provide one source billing for all of my staffing including per diem, travel, contract and direct hire?
Staffing Universe works with each client to best support their individual needs. Our standard services include consolidated billing for all direct hire placements made through Staffing Universe. We can provide consolidation for all of your facilities temporary placements upon special request.
Can I work offline with recruiters that I meet through the Staffing Universe?
No. We make it exceptionally easy for an employer to select and work with their recruiters of choice. Because of the work that we do in helping our clients and agents to match up, our Terms of Use prohibit bringing new business developed through the Staffing Universe offline. Anyone attempting to violate this policy will be immediately removed from the marketplace.
Can Staffing Universe help me consolidate my facility’s contracts with the vendors that we use?
Staffing Universe can provide Consolidated Contract Services which includes; complete contract administration, agreements for exclusive staffing of all open jobs, RFP administration, quarterly updated contracts and insurance binders.
Who’s contracts do we use?
Staffing Universe has an agreement governing the Terms and Conditions for use on our software between both the recruiter and the employer and Staffing Universe. Our Terms work to ensure the quality of work that our agents produce and increase the effective communication between all parties. With that, the recruiters that you will choose to work with will also sign your company’s contracts.
How do I report someone who has violated the Terms and Conditions for the Staffing Universe?
Please call us as anyone who chooses to violate our agreement will be removed from the Staffing Universe immediately.
